Energy Business Division

Contributing to stable energy supply around the world while promoting low-carbon and decarbonization initiatives

The Energy Business Division is involved in various fields of the energy value chain from upstream to downstream supporting our customers’ entire supply chain and contributing to the stable supply of energy worldwide.

Recognizing the global trend toward carbon reduction in recent years, we have been working on the development of low/zero emission fuel and renewable energy-related businesses in addition to our oil and gas upstream and midstream businesses comprising the conventional transportation of energy products such as crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), liquefied natural gas (LNG), and coal, and our involvement in offshore businesses such as geophysical survey vessels; drillships; floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) units; and shuttle tankers, among others. For the transportation of hazardous materials in tankers, LNG carriers, and other vessels, we are working together with ship-management companies to improve safety and quality to achieve operational management that meets the high standards demanded by the oil majors.

While firmly supporting people's lives through our conventional energy business, we will contribute to the global energy transition.
