NYK Group to Exhibit at Wind Expo 2020

~ Introducing Wide Range of Solutions to Meet Various Needs ~

NYK, together with group companies NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd., Japan Marine Science Inc., and Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd., will participate in Wind Expo 2020, an international wind energy exhibition to be held in Tokyo from February 26 to 28 at Tokyo Big Sight.

At its booth, the NYK Group will make use of panels and videos to introduce services that meet customer needs in various areas of the offshore wind business. The area for business meetings will also be provided so that the Group can hear more about customer needs and requests. Please feel free to join us!!

In the MPP & Heavy Lift vessel division, the company provides services worldwide as the only Japanese shipping company to operate heavy lifters and deck carriers.

- Japan Marine Science Inc.
A maritime consulting company that conducts safety and environmental assessments of ports and marine infrastructure. For offshore wind power generation projects, the company offers surveys to consider environmental and social conditions before determining a suitable location for the installation of wind turbines, as well as business support in other areas, such as wind turbine specifications. Taking advantage of its ship handling simulator, the company also provides safety measures for ship operations during the installation of the wind turbines. Training for maintenance and inspection after installation are also offered as a comprehensive consultation service to meet customer needs.

- Yusen Logistics Co. Ltd.
A supply chain logistics company that provides ocean and air freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution services and supply chain management globally.. Utilizing a network of more than 550 offices in 46 countries and regions around the world, more than 24,000 employees provide optimal and suitable solutions for diverse and complicated demands of customers. The company will introduce logistics services for offshore wind turbine parts, and the supply chain management system "Yusen Vantage Performance," which enables customers to pick from an integrated suite of IT solutions - from the provision of end to end supply chain visibility to optimization, prediction and compliance functionality.
