NYK has concluded a strategic framework agreement with Microsoft Japan Co., Ltd.

Under its medium-term management plan, "Sail Green, Drive Transformations 2026," the NYK Group has positioned DX as a core strategy for business transformation. In addition, in the “NYK Group DX Story” released in November 2025, DX is defined not only as a means of promoting management strategy but also as a driving force that creates new value.

The NYK Group will promote the following priority areas:

• Development of foundations that support DX propulsion
  Developing cloud infrastructure, establishing platforms for data utilization and generative AI, and strengthening cybersecurity
• Development of DX human resource
  Formulating organizational initiatives and human resource development programs for effective use of generative AI
• Advancement of existing businesses through digital technologies
  Utilizing AI agents and enhanced use of data to transform business processes
• Creation of new business models
  Promoting initiatives that leverage the expertise and technologies of the NYK Group to create new value originating from the shipping and logistics industries

The NYK Group aims to continue creating new social value centered on shipping and logistics. The NYK Group will pursue further development of the maritime and global logistics industries, while also fostering next-generation DX talent and organizations.
