NYK has released an introductory video showcasing the “NYK Group DX Story,” which was established in November 2025. The video presents the initiative’s core concept and was created to help a wide range of stakeholders gain a deeper understanding of the NYK Group’s digital transformation (DX) efforts.

NYK has been at the forefront of promoting DX, driven by initiatives originating from operational sites. In recognition of these efforts, NYK has received high acclaim, including being selected as a DX Platinum Company for 2026–2028 under the Digital Transformation Stock (DX Stock) program,* becoming the first company in the logistics industry to receive this designation.

NYK views DX not only as a means of executing its management strategy but also as a driving force for advancing its core businesses and creating new business opportunities. By leveraging these two pillars as engines of transformation, NYK will continue to fulfill its responsibilities to the environment and society.

* Digital Transformation Stock (DX Stock) Program
The DX Stock program is an annual initiative jointly administered by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc., and Japan’s Information-Technology Promotion Agency. Established in 2020, the program recognizes listed companies that use digital technology to fundamentally transform their business models and enhance corporate value. NYK received the DX Grand Prix in 2023 and was subsequently selected as a DX Stock for three consecutive years. In recognition of these sustained efforts, NYK was designated a DX Platinum Company for 2026–2028.
