NYK Recognized by CDP as One of World’s Top Green Businesses for Sixth Consecutive Year

Underscores Advanced Decarbonization Strategy and Environmental Disclosure

On December 10, NYK was selected as an "A List" company for climate change for the sixth consecutive year as a global leader in climate change response by the international environmental non-profit organization CDP.* This prestigious recognition underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to advanced decarbonization strategies and transparent environmental disclosure.

CDP operates one of the world’s largest platforms for environmental information disclosure, widely recognized as the global standard for corporate environmental transparency. CDP evaluates companies and municipalities based on the comprehensiveness of their disclosure, responses to environmental risks, and ambitious target setting. Responses are assessed through a detailed questionnaire, and scores are assigned on an eight-level scale from A to D⁻.

For the 2025 assessment, company response data is scheduled to be published in January 2025. In the 2024 assessment, more than 22,700 companies worldwide responded, with only 515 companies (approximately 2% of respondents) earning a place on the A List.
