NYK has been recognized with a Best Workplace 2023 D&I Award certifying diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts being made at NYK.
This award was established by JobRainbow Co., Ltd. in 2021 and is one of the most significant award in Japan to score and evaluate companies on their commitment to D&I. This award aims to realize a society where D&I is commonplace by promoting and enhancing D&I within society and expanding the number of D&I promoters.
A company's D&I efforts are ranked using a 100-item "Diversity Score" that is used to place companies in one of four categories.* NYK improved its ranking over the previous year by attaining higher ratings in LGBTQ+, disability, and multicultural criteria.
We will continue our efforts to foster an organizational culture that accepts various values and promotes the success of diverse human resources.
