NYK’s Response to COVID-19 (24)

NYK has implemented revised work-from-home measures.

Eligible Employees: Head office and branch office employees
Period: April 18, until further notice

<Major changes>
・Staff may work from home for a maximum of four days each week, while maintaining the percentage of staff working at the office at less than approximately 50% of the total staff.
・After carefully reviewing the COVID-19 situation, restrictions on domestic business trips will be lifted in due course. Restrictions for overseas business trips will be alleviated too.
・Meetings with customers are to be held using online tools as much as possible. Our company staff may visit customers’ offices only after receiving permission from the customers in advance. Customer visits to our office will be accepted, but temperature checks of customers entering will be required until further notice.

NYK considers prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and the health and safety of the company’s employees to be of utmost importance and will continue to operate vessels safely to ensure the stable transportation of energy, resources, and materials that support people's lives.
