NYK’s Response to Covid-19 (11)

NYK has implemented revised work-from-home measures in response to the Japanese government’s decision to extend the state-of-emergency (SOE) covering the Tokyo and the greater Osaka areas and expand the SOE to include Aichi and Fukuoka prefectures.

Affected Employees: Head office and branch office employees (adding Kyushu and Nagoya branch office employees)
Period: May 12, 2021, to May 31, 2021 (may change according to the situation)

<Main points of measures>

・The company has ordered all staff to work from home during this period with the exception of special cases.
・Domestic and overseas business trips are to be avoided.
・Meetings with customers: Face-to-face meetings will be prohibited and replaced by online meetings as much as possible utilizing applications such as Microsoft Teams. We ask customers to refrain from visiting our offices with the exception of special cases.
