Asuka II Honored as Cruise Ship of the Year for 23rd Consecutive Year

Asuka II, a cruise ship operated by wholly owned NYK Cruises Co. Ltd. (head office: Yokohama; president: Hiroshi Hattori), has been recognized as the 2014 Cruise Ship of the Year by the readers of the Japanese magazine Cruise. This is the 23rd consecutive year that the ship has received this award.
 
Readers of Cruise have voted on this recognition annually since 1992, and 583 readers participated this year, selecting Asuka II as the best Japan-based ship and best overall
 
Comments provided by voters included the following: “Asuka II is a cruise ship that can be repeatedly enjoyed," "the staff carefully listen to the comments of passengers and make genuine efforts to improve," and "the facilities are gorgeous and reliable.”
