NYK’s Response to COVID-19

NYK has expanded its remote work option to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of company employees.

- Outline of New Remote Work Plan

Eligible Employees: Head office and branch office employees
Period: March 27, 2020, to April 17, 2020 (may change according to the situation)
Workstyle: The number of days employees may work from home each week has been increased from three days to five days

NYK’s response has been crafted to ensure the following:

● Encourage infection prevention and keep employees in good health
● Maintain smooth internal communication through use of online tools
● Avoid rush hours for commutes to the office

The NYK Group has positioned prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and the health and safety of employees as a significant issue, and NYK will continue to take appropriate measures in accordance with government policies.
