NYK Vessel Rescues yachtsman in the Strait of Magellan

Frontier Ambition, a bulk carrier operated by NYK, rescued a yachtsman in distress in the Strait of Magellan on February 18.
 
While Frontier Ambition was sailing from Rizhao, China, to Otway, Chile, the vessel received a request from the MRCC* Punta Arenas to assist a yachtsman who had become stranded due to bad weather. The rescued yachtsman was delivered in good health from Frontier Ambition to the Chilean coast guard on February 20.
 
The yachtsman offered his gratitude to the vessel and a letter of appreciation was received from the maritime authority.
