The NYK Group aims to have integrated management that simultaneously focuses on maximizing the benefits of the group with those of society, while giving deep consideration to both the company's relationship with stakeholders and key issues of sustainability such as the environment, society, and governance (ESG).

Emphasizing the spirit of the 3I's,* the DNA of the group, along with the core concept of "materiality," all NYK Group employees execute business operations for the enrichment of our corporate value.

Organizations to Promote CSR Activities

We address requests from stakeholders, continually promoting internal growth to help the NYK Group meet the expectations of society.

For that purpose, we have established a CSR Division at NYK's headquarters and appointed CSR Task Force members in each group at the headquarters. We have CSR officers at 54 main group companies in Japan, and CSR coordinators at overseas offices, to promote CSR activities that address local concerns and issues.

The CSR Division disseminates information through the NYK Report and company website. The division also implements CSR training programs and gathers information about all CSR activities at group companies.
