NYK has a wealth of experience transporting crude oil, petroleum products, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) around the world. And we have taken extensive measures to ensure that those resources are transported safely and efficiently. For example, we were one of the first companies to begin switching to double-hulled oil tankers, and currently over 80 percent of our fleet of more than 30 tankers is double-hulled. Our commitment to safe and eco-conscious operations has been applauded around the world, resulting in charter agreements with major petroleum companies in Korea, China and the United States. We have also participated in LNG transportation projects in France, Nigeria and Russia, and we are a major carrier of LNG, which is now regarded as a leading source of clean energy.

We are operating more than 13 vessels for product and more than 5 vessels for methanol. Both trade are expected to increase and so that we, NYK is planning to increase our fleet in order to meet the demand.
