NYK's open-hatch bulk carriers are operated by SAGA Forest Carriers International AS in Norway (hereinafter SAGA). SAGA is an international ocean shipping company specializing in the transportation of forest products. Saga is currently operating a fleet of 25 sophisticated open-hatch bulk carriers and 4 newbuildings will join in 2007-2008.

REEFER CARRIERS

The reefer vessel fleet of NYK is operated by NYKCool AB, a subsidiary of NYK Reefers Limited. NYKCool AB, located in Stockholm (HQ) and London, operates a fleet of approximately 60 reefer vessels of different classes with capacity ranging between 380,000cft and 760,000cft, equipped with high container capacity and modern treatment facilities such as controlled atmosphere, suitable to carry perishable cargo throughout the world.
