NYK Report Recognized with Award for Excellence at 2015 Nikkei Annual Report Awards

The 2015 NYK Report was recognized with an Award for Excellence at the 18th Nikkei Annual Report Awards Ceremony held at the Nikkei Building in Tokyo on February 22.
NYK corporate officer Hitoshi Oshika attended the event and accepted a plaque on behalf of the company. In Nikkei’s evaluation, the NYK Report was highly evaluated for its clear message and overall degree of quality.
New NYK president Tadaaki Naito opens the report by clearly indicating the bold and sound approach the company is taking to achieve the goals of NYK’s medium-term management plan. The body of the report then emphasizes the company’s corporate value-enhancement processes, and all parts are linked through the inclusion of concrete business models and figures.
NYK will continue its efforts to enhance its corporate value by being financially responsible, conducting business activities in an open, honest, and transparent fashion, and disclosing relevant information and data that benefits NYK’s stakeholders.
