NYK Starts Containership Service Linking Asia, Mexico, and West Coast of South America

April 20, 2015

NYK will team with APL and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. to start a new service network — the AMC (Asia Mexico Colombia Express) Service — from May 22 linking Asia, Mexico, and the west coast of South America.

This new service will use eight 6,000 TEU containerships and will feature a particularly short lead time between Hong Kong and Manzanillo, Mexico — only 17 days, the fastest on the market.

NYK will continue its efforts to provide its customers with an expanded range of transportation services offering comprehensive coverage and greater service quality.
