NYK Chairman Nominated as Next JFFI Chairman

On June 8, NYK chairman Koji Miyahara was nominated as the next chairman of the Japan Federation of Freight Industries (JFFI).* The JFFI chairmanship is generally filled by the chairman of another logistics-related organization, and Mr. Miyahara became eligible after he was recently nominated as chairman of the Japanese Shipowners’ Association.**

 

Mr. Miyahara will officially take on these added responsibilities once his nomination is confirmed at the JFFI’s 18th general assembly on June 19.
