NYK Chairman Nominated as Next JSA Chairman

On May 20, the Japanese Shipowners’ Association (JSA)* nominated NYK chairman Koji Miyahara to serve as its next chairman. Mr. Miyahara will officially take on these added responsibilities once his nomination is confirmed at the JSA’s 62nd general assembly on June 17.
After confirmation of his nomination, Mr. Miyahara will select the JSA vice-chairmen, who will also be confirmed by the general assembly.
A brief outline of Mr. Miyahara’s career at NYK is provided below:
