NYK acquires Lorang France

NYK Logistics Europe has expanded its logistics services network through the purchase of Lorang France SA by its subsidiary NYK Logistics (France) SAS.
Lorang France is a well-established road freight forwarder based in Metz in North-eastern France. It employs 30 people in two locations principally serving key exporters of manufactured goods in the region.
Mr Daniel Rossi, the previous owner, will continue as President of Lorang France and manage the business on a day-to-day basis. NYK Logistics Europe plan to expand the successful Lorang business model by developing synergies with its European network in twelve countries.
Mr Jeremy Davidson, Deputy Managing Director of NYK Logistics (Europe), in Metz for the contract signing commented: "We as NYK are delighted to welcome the staff of Lorang into the global NYK family. We look forward to moving forward together."
