September 30, 2005

On October 1, 2005, NYK Logistics (China) Co., Ltd., NYK's wholly owned subsidiary headquartered in Shanghai, will make an alteration to the Chinese characters used in the company's name, after earlier acquiring authorization from the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China in addition to the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. The English name will remain unchanged.

Since the establishment of NYK Logistics (China) Co., Ltd., in June 2000, the company has expanded business operations throughout China and currently operates five branches and ten offices. The company's extensive logistics services include international transport and delivery, storage management, and car and truck transportation. Upon this name change, the company will continue its role as a global logistics provider intent on providing unparalleled customer satisfaction and premium value-added services.
