The detail of the gratuitous transportation

NYK Group has actively implemented gratuitous transport services, centering on transport by ship, of aid supplies for victims of the recent earthquake that occured off north Sumatra, Indonesia, and the subsequent tsunami in the Indian Ocean.

The details of the free-of-charge transport are as follows.

[Period]
The deadline for the free-of charge transport will be extended. Free-of-charge rule will be applied for all goods collected at the yard to be shipped from the origin port until the end of March 2005. However please note that the application for the free-of-charge transport must be accepted by the regional contact party by the end of February.
  
[Destination] Destination ports are limited to Singapore, Malaysia (Port Kelang, Penang), Sri Lanka (Colombo) Indonesia (Jakarta), and Thailand (Laem Chabang). If there is any requirement for other ports, please consult with the person in charge in your region as stated below.
  
[Types of Services] Service for Dry container is available.

[Limit of Transport] From an origin port container yard to a destination port container yard (On a CY to CY basis). However if there is any request beyond this limit please consult with the person in charge in your region as stated below.
  
[Goods] Free-of-charge transport service will only be offered for the relief goods to be transported to support the victims in the disaster areas caused by the asian Earthquake and the subsequent tsunami.
  
[Others] For the purpose of delivering surely and promptly to victims in the disaster areas, this transport is limited to the aid supplies required by international relief and charity organizations approved by each government.
