NYK Launches NYK Line (Korea) Co., Ltd.

Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) has launched NYK Line (Korea) Co., Ltd. (NYK Line (Korea)), a solely owned subsidiary of NYK, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency of its comprehensive transport and logistics division in Korea. This is the Company's second affiliate company in Korea following NYK Bulkship (Korea) Co., Ltd., which commenced its business operations in June 2004.
With the inauguration of NYK Line (Korea), NYK has strategically laid out its system in Korea as well as in other Asian countries, to offer high quality customer service based on NYK's own quality control standards, and to allow the Company to offer a comprehensive logistics service to respond to clients' all-round needs, in addition to conventional marine transportation. Further, NYK offers a global service backed up by NYK's international network to Korean enterprises with business operations in other countries outside Japan and Korea.
NYK Line (Korea) Co., Ltd., is the eleventh subsidiary of NYK in the liner services category in the Asian region. NYK continues to positively improve its business network in the Asian region.
