Globally Dedicated NYK Extends Black Sea Focus

NYK today announces the appointment of three new agents in the Black Sea to help boost trade with this important region.

From 1 September NYK Line's agents in:

"These appointments mark another significant step in 120 years of growth for NYK and continue our strategy of increasing local focus in the areas where we trade": said European Marketing General Manager Mr Takaya Soga. "Development in the Black Sea region is increasing and by offering improved access for sea-trade to our globally dedicated logistic services we hope to assist the region realise its potential."

NYK will be offering dedicated space to and from these ports on its main Far East-Europe Liner services linking to feeder services via Damietta in Egypt. Transit times from Damietta are to: Odessa 6 days, Ilyichevsk 8 days, Constanza 9 days and Varna 10 days; with the whole loop taking 14 days. NYK will be utilising two feeder vessels to offer a weekly service to all four ports.
