NYK Inaugurates Logistics Rebranding - New Global Website

Effective January 1, 2004, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) uniformly rebranded all its logistics subsidiaries "NYK Logistics." This shared designation acknowledges the impact of NYK Logistics within the global market and NYK's dedication to its customers worldwide.
With the start of the new year, NYK's five business units in the Americas; GST Corporation, NYK Logistics (UWDC) Inc., NYK Logistics (ETA) Inc., NYK Logistics (OCS) Inc., and New Wave Logistics (USA) Inc.; are operating as divisions of NYK Logistics (Americas) Inc.
Effective January 1, 2004, NYK's two European companies, New Wave Logistics and UCI Logistics, were also rebranded "NYK Logistics."
NYK's Asian firms were renamed NYK Logistics (Thailand) and NYK Logistics (Taiwan) in 2003, along with its companies in Oceania, NYK Logistics (Australia) and NYK Logistics (New Zealand). In similar fashion, New Wave Logistics (Hong Kong) and New Wave Logistics (Philippines) were renamed NYK Logistics (Hong Kong) and NYK Logistics (Philippines) respectively, effective January 1, 2004. With some exceptions, NYK is further scheduled to rebrand other logistics firms in Asia.
