TSK Introduces NYK e-Commerce Services to Intra-Asia Container Trade

Effective today, customers can use NYK e-Commerce applications (www.nykline.com) with Tokyo Senpaku Kaisha (TSK), a 100% subsidiary of NYK, for Intra-Asia container shipments. The new service complements NYK's Trans-Atlantic, Trans-Pacific, Europe, and Oceania shipments.
TSK's total lifting for 2002 was 800,000 TEU, about one-third of the lifting for all NYK group container businesses that year (2,390,000 TEU). We believe our e-Commerce applications such as Schedules and Cargo Tracing, Booking, all listed below, will help customers in their daily business with TSK, whose services feature exceptionally short transit times, large number of bookings and B/L, even more than in other trade-lanes.
Moreover, any customer with a User ID for NYK e-Commerce applications can enjoy this convenient service with TSK using the same User ID. Customers who do not yet have an NYK User ID can register for one online at www.nykline.com.
NYK is now enhancing e-Commerce applications to support its Central & South America and Africa container businesses (170,000 TEU), and with its completion, customers will be able to use our e-Commerce applications for all their container businesses within the NYK Group.
