March 28, 2003

TTG-Edam is a warehousing and distribution company, based north of Amsterdam, which operates a truck fleet of some 20 trucks for domestic distribution in The Netherlands, including specialised services like home-delivery, in-store delivery and installation services. In addition a warehouse facility of 8.000 m2 is used to provide warehousing and value added services to their customer base.

NYK Logistics (Europe) is operating over 400,000 m2 of warehouse space in 11 countries in Europe under the New Wave Logistics name, which includes a facility of 20,000 m2 in Ridderkerk, The Netherlands. The acquisition of TTG-Edam is an extension of the activities currently carried out in The Netherlands and in line with the growth strategy of the company.

The activities of New Wave Logistics and TTG-Edam will continue to operate separately, however under the same Dutch management.
