NYK Logistics China Co., Ltd., The China-based integrated logistics service unit of the Nippon Yusen Kaisha group is going to Open Five branches in China

NYK Logistics China Co., Ltd. (NLC) has made application to ministries concerned for opening branches in order to deal with increasing logistics demands of customer after China becomes a participant in the WTO.
As of 17th June, 2002, MOC, the Ministry of Communication in the PRC and MOFTEC, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, PRC have given their authorization to set up in business at Tianjin, Qingdao, Fuzhou, Xiamen and Guangzhou.
Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) founded NLC head office as wholly-owned logistics company in Shanghai 1st of June 2000, to meet various needs of customers expanding their business in China, a rapidly growing market in Asia.
After obtaining this official approval from MOC and MOFTEC, NLC takes necessary steps at each city to start business operations within this year.
NYK group has always regarded China as strategically important area from logistics point of view.
