Eradication of Malnutrion
Since June 2014, NYK Line (India) Ltd. in partnership with CRY (Child Rights and You) has supported a programme aimed at dealing with malnutrition in one of the most economically backward suburbs of Mumbai. The programme is being undertaken by CRY with local NGO Sneha, and works at the ground level by primarily focusing on slums in this suburb.
The Kochi office of NYK Line (India) Ltd., in coordination with members of the Cochin Steamer Agents' Association (CSAA) and Rotary Club of Cochin West and in partnership with the Cochin Port Trust and Indian Medical Association Blood Bank Cochin, successfully organized a voluntary blood donation drive and awareness campaign at Cochin Port Trust Hospital on July 6.
